Free walk-up COVID-19 testing is now available in front of the Department of Public Health, 799 N. Highland, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. No insurance or ID is needed. Ottendorf is the state contractor conducting the testing. Testing is walk-up only and residents seeking testing are welcome to park in Forsyth Public Health’s parking lot.

The upper portion of the plaza in front of the Forsyth County Government will be fenced off for construction starting either Friday, Jan. 27, or Monday, Jan. 30. The front of the Government Center will still be accessible by the handicap ramp in front of the building.
