N.C. Cooperative Extension, along with NC Choices and Rustic Roots on Main, will host a local meat workshop on lamb for consumers about how to handle and prepare local meat. The workshop will be held in-person at the Davidson County Extension Office from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Friday, February 18. You will be able to meet the local farmers and learn about their operations. In addition, there will be instruction on food safety, butchery demonstrations, cooking demonstrations, and more!
