February Forsyth County Beekeepers Association Meeting - Saturday Febuary 2nd from 5:30pm - 8:30pm

The February meeting on of the Forsyth County Bee Keepers Association will be on Saturday the 2nd of Febuary from 5:30pm - 8:30pm and will feature Don Hopkins, NC Apiary Inspection Supervisor, who will be speaking on "NC Beekeeping 2018-2019." In addition to a summary of the state of beekeeping in NC last year, he will discuss the flooding and the resulting mosquito abatement and pesticide use. It is important that we be aware of how to avoid the devastation of floods, as well as how to protect our bees from the aftermath. Come hear what Don has to say about that and how the various agencies in NC are working to protect our bees now and in the future.
