Lynae Bowman won both the Intermediate animal and the people categories with her photographs of a calf and a shot of a heifer being rinsed. Her brother Nate Bowman won the Junior People category with a shot of his dad feeding the cows

Nate Bowman also won the Junior Graphic Design contest and Lynae was second in the Intermediate contest. The theme was: "Beef: It's What's for Dinner".
In the Livestock Judging Contest, the Intermediate team of Lynae Bowman, Erica and Amber Shutsky and Salem Sifford was second overall. In the junior category, Nate Bowman joined Sedona Sifford (Alamance County) and Cooper Joines (Virginia) to earn the title of second place team.
Lynae Bowman won the Jim Butler Overall Award for the weekend and earned a $500 college scholarship. She is pictured with the Junior Overall points earner, Jordan Mitchem and the Senior Overall points earner, Reagan Mitchem. Points are given for their participation in every category. The Junior, Intermediate and Senior with the most points are given plaques and the individual with the most points wins the scholarship.
