On Tuesday, July 16, Tanglewood will continue its third annual summer series: Tuesdays at Tanglewood with the program Wildlife of North Carolina!
Volunteers with Forsyth County Wildlife Rehabilitators care for more than 500 wild animals a year. Join Liz Schmid as she shares details on the care of sick, injured, and orphaned animals. Live "education ambassadors" will join Liz for this informative program (Note: program is free, but tax-deductible donations including supplies and gift cards will be accepted).To participate in the Wildlife of North Carolina program, meet at Shelter 2 at 10:00 am.

The summer programs feature a variety of nature activities and will be free to the public, with the exception of the $2 per vehicle Tanglewood Park entrance fee for all programs at Shelter 2 and Walnut Hall. Registered RV campers and annual pass holders do not pay the entrance fee.
These programs will be take place on most Tuesdays beginning June 18 through August 20 at 10:00 am. All programs last approximately an hour.
Participants should bring their own sunscreen, insect repellent, and water bottle, and wear comfortable hiking clothes and shoes. The programs are designed for all ages, but children ages 16 and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
