Congratulations to NE McLeansville 4-H from Guilford County who had the first place 4-H fair booth at the 2011 Dixie Classic Fair. Second went to the Trailblazers 4-H Club, third to the 4-H Peace Team and 4th to the Trailblazer Teens 4-H Club, all from Stokes County. This year’s theme was “Hungry to Help” and each booth was required to include at least 20 items to be donated to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest North Carolina. The clubs went above and beyond, raising 520 pounds of food!
Two Forsyth County 4-H Clubs decorated Christmas trees at the Dixie Classic Fair in the decorated tree contest. 2nd went to the Trailblazer Teens 4-H Club and 5th to the 4-H Peace Team.
