As part of this past Saturday’s GO EXPO, Cooperative Extension had a giant section called GO BLOOM. We offered displays of ways you could green your garden by learning how to make your yard a more sustainable and fruitful environment. There were signs up for the Local 10 Percent campaign – a move to keep more of our grocery dollars here in North Carolina.
Forsyth County Master Gardeners were available to offer gardening tips and folks were able to browse displays of products and services about composting, conserving water, community gardening, growing and preserving food, sustainable landscaping and more.
