Home & Garden programs for March 15-23
We kick-off our spring home & garden series with programs on how to build a rain garden and beginning vegetable gardening. If you have a downspout, you can probably have a rain garden. Rain gardens help control water runoff from your landscape, provide habitat for urban wildlife, and help recharge groundwater. This beautiful garden could be your solution to excess rainwater from your home’s downspouts.
Vegetables taste better when they are home grown! Find out how to grow your own vegetables from transplants or seeds, prepare your garden soil, fertilize and control weeds. These practices will help you to have a successful vegetable garden. For more information e-mail
