Traditional camp activities include a talent show, campfire and games and songs. Older youth even get to use a GPS unit, go geocaching, camp-out overnight and experience the high ropes course. The cost also includes a t-shirt, a drink and a snack everyday during break as well as all your food and lodging. There are five 4-H camps located from the mountains to the coast.
The closest camp to Forsyth County is Betsy-Jeff Penn 4-H Center in Reidsville (Rockingham County) and is open year-round to school groups, summer camps and even family reunions.
