On March 9, 2015 Deputy J. Rae initiated drug investigation in the area of 3400 Cook Place Drive. Two suspects were identified, one of which is known to sell heroin and cocaine. The suspect has been under investigation for several months. Deputy Rae used his training and experience to recognize suspicious activity that could have easily been overlooked.

After several indicators of drug activity, Deputy Rae located the two suspects meeting behind an apartment building and detained them. He conducted an investigation that provided substantial evidence to arrest a heroin distributor, cultivated a confidential informant and gathered intelligence regarding at least six other narcotics dealers within Forsyth County. All aspects of the investigation are a solid basis for successful prosecution.

Deputy Rae has less than three years of law enforcement experience. However, he exhibits a great deal of motivation, dedication, knowledge and a desire to learn new skills. Deputy Rae is commended for his efforts and accomplishments.
