On May 9, 2012, Officer Marion was conducting the daily shakedowns of a dormitory. As she conducted the inspection, Detention Officer Marion discovered a lancet needle inside an inmate's jar of Vaseline. The needle found is used by medical personnel for blood sugar testing.

Detention Officer Marion's observation while conducting shakedowns has prevented a potential weapon within the LEDC, while also preventing a possible injury to inmates and staff. Congratulations on a job well done!
