Investigator J. W. Tilley assisted several agencies from other jurisdictions while maintaining his current case load. Investigator Tilley worked with the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office on video enhancements of a breaking and entering investigation and also assisted them with the investigation of a bank robbery were the co-defendants were located in Forsyth County and resulted in two additional arrests. The Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office sought assistance from Investigator Tilley with a very intense homicide investigation that is still currently being investigated.

Investigator Tilley also assisted the Hanover County Sheriff’s Office in Virginia with an investigation on computer harassment. He located the suspect here in Forsyth County, interviewed him and obtained a full confession. This particular incident involved a young man being taunted about his mother’s unexpected death. With Investigator Tilley’s willingness to assist Hanover County, they were able to bring this incident to a close and some closure to the young man and his family. The professionalism and dedication to duty exhibited by Investigator Tilley reflects highly upon him and the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office.
