Air quality levels should remain in the lower YELLOW range as winds begin to increase in speed and temperatures hold in the upper 60s. A gusty front will sweep through the state Saturday morning and help to improve air quality readings back into the GREEN range. Winds could gust as high as 40 mph tomorrow as this cold front quickly exits the region. Sunday should see the start of a slow increase of AQI levels with sunny skies returning and winds decreasing in speed. AQI levels should bump back into the YELLOW range Monday as temperatures push into the low to mid 70s and skies remain sunny. (Bodenhamer)
