Come to the Central Library from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 5 to experience the stars with the Forsyth Astronomical Society. We will also have snacks, crafts, and a storytime! All are welcome.
The Alliance Book Club is a library book club dedicated to reading and discussing books by and/or about members of the LGBTQIA+ community. There’s a new bookmobile in town, and it’s one of a kind. The Forsyth County Public Library’s STREAMLab Mobile Makerspace will be out and about with books, a makerspace, and more to expand the Library’s services throughout Forsyth County.
The Forsyth County Public Library has selected Jasmine Huff and Katie Wolf as its 2024 Artists in Residence who will be sharing their creative processes with the Forsyth County community through the end of 2024.
Hey teens! Do you want to learn how to do more in the kitchen than make microwave popcorn and heat up Hot Pockets? Then come to our Cooking for Teens programs (for ages 12-18), taught by professional chef Floyd Davis. No experience is necessary, but attendees must register in advance and sign a program waiver.
Drop-in to play board, card, and video games in Teen Central. Gaming computers and a VR headset are also available. For ages 12-18. Program waiver is required to enjoy refreshments at gaming programs.
