One-Stop Early Voting Schedule

Early, no-excuse absentee voting will begin at 8:00 AM on Thursday, October 15th, and end at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 31st for the 2009 Municipal General Election. Early voting will only be held on the second floor of the Forsyth County Government Center, 201 N. Chestnut Street in downtown Winston-Salem.

Monday through Friday hours are 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

Saturday and Sunday hours are as follows:

October 17, Saturday
October 18, Sunday
October 24, Saturday
October 25, Sunday
October 31, Saturday
8:00 am - 5:00 pm
1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
8:00 am - 5:00 pm
1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
8:00 am - 1:00 pm

Those eligible to vote in this Municipal General Election include residents in the following municipalities: Bethania, Clemmons, Kernersville, Lewisville, Rural Hall, Tobaccoville, Walkertown and Winston-Salem.

If a Forsyth County resident has missed the 25 day deadline for voter registration (October 9, 2009) and has lived at their current address for at least thirty (30) days, he/she may register and vote during One-Stop Absentee Voting.
