New COVID-19 testing site at Forsyth Public Health Department

Free walk-up COVID-19 testing is now available in front of the Department of Public Health, 799 N. Highland, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. No insurance or ID is needed. Ottendorf is the state contractor conducting the testing. Testing is walk-up only and residents seeking testing are welcome to park in Forsyth Public Health’s parking lot.

Free at-home test kits are also available inside of the Forsyth Public Health Department and at Forsyth County libraries. COVID-19 vaccines, including the latest booster that provides protection against Omicron variants, are also available at Forsyth Public Health.
